I am enjoying the book so far, it is getting to a very interesting part about a secret in the family that has been hiding.
The Independent Reading assignments have helped me become a better reader in the fact, that i read a little bit faster, and I am understanding what I am reading while I read fast, becasuse before I was a little bit more slower at reading.
The work has been worthwhile, becasue it has helped me, and also I have learned new words that I didn't know before.

BabyFace- Character Post

The main character in the story BabyFace is Toni. Toni is a dynamic character, she changes throughout the story; Toni's father in her birthday when she was little he used to call her Baby Face, but as she grows up, and her next birthday comes up she doesn't like being called Baby Face anymore. She also revealed her sister later in the story, which her name Martine. Toni describes her sister as a stranger since they haven't seen each other becasue of when Martine when to college, and she hasn't come home, she only come briefly, or sometimes over the holidays. The conflict that she develops is kinda with her sister when Toni writes her a letter and her sister Martine doesn't responde. Her friends right now that she counts as one of her best friends is Julie. At this point she doesn't have any enemies.

Baby Face

The setting of this novel mostly takes place in a street called Oak Street. There are two girls named Julie and Toni they are next door neighbors. Since they have meet each other they have always done things together like do homewok, spent the weekends and the holidays together. Their families before they were born they really didn't have any communication at all. Toni's parents were Harold Chessmore, he was fireman and Violet Chessmore she managed a drugstore. Julie's parents were Steven he dealt with paint supplies and Jerrine was involved in building her cosmetics line. These girls really got along. Her life was perfect until her best friend julie left to california, and they almost ended their friendship over a boy, also also her life was not perfect whenever she foound out the long- buried secret of her family, which still is keep a mystery.

So far this book has been interesting, and keeps you reading because there are some climaxs that are very interesting that you want to know that is going to happen next. Also you find it impossible ti stop reading becasue i want to find out the long- buried secret of the family. So yeah it is a very interesting book.

S.C.A.M- Character Post

Dynamic: some that is sad going through stuff.
Mike Riley is a dynamic character. In the begining everthing seems to be fine with his girlfriend Marcy that he has, but as the story continues he sees his girlfriend with another guy. He realizes that she has been cheating on him for two mothns with another guy. He now is going to a difficult situation to deal with. He is very depressed doesn't want to hang out with his friends anymore. He is very hurt by the situation that he has lost his girlfriend that he said "loved".

"Akeelah and the Bee"

I enjoyed the movie alot, because it shows how hard you have to work, to achieve something that you reall want. The ending was sufficinet because one of them wanted the other to win, but it was fair that Dyland and Akeelah, won the national championship, since they have worked really hard to get the trophy. I would recommend this movie to someone else, since it shows hard work and dedication to something that we might want in life, or either achieve greater things. Word will help me better communicate better with people, it will also help me with my knowledge, but other than that words help you everywhere you go in life, express yourself better, and helps you in other class and it makes you achieve.

S.C.A.M - Setting

The Setting of the story called S.C.A.M is at Ian's house in hillside. He and other friends like to play cards. Mike is the high school quarterback, he is dating a girl which supposebly he likes alot.
Mike's coach has seen him improve in the quarteback. Mike now has the oppourtunity to join the scouts, but first they have to see him play. Mike nows that this is his oppourtinty to get a scholarship and pay for college, and he is going to to throw in the best he can.
